ALA’s State of America’s Libraries
State Of America’s Libraries Report 2010 was released in April 2010. The 66-page report from the American Library Association offers users a wealth of information about current trends over the past years. The report starts with “A ‘perfect storm’ of growing demand and shrinking resources.”  A 23% increase in usage of libraries has occurred since 2006.   Unfortunately the report states that 24 states had public library budgets cut.
